Charter A Cirrus Vision Jet For Private Flights:
Cirrus Vision Jet Overview
The Cirrus Vision SF50, also known as the Vision Jet, is a single-engine jet powered by a Williams FJ33 turbofan. Manufactured in the United States by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota, work on the aircraft started once enough money was procured to make the project feasible. It’s prototype came out in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2016 that the first Vision Jet took flight on the charter market.
Access to the cabin is through a clamshell door on the left hand side of the fuselage. The Vision Jet is the slowest jet in the very light jet category, but it has a maximum range of 1,200 nm, 1,300 mi, 2,222 km. This range allows the Vision Jet to fly as far as other very light jet such as the Phenom 100E and the Citation Mustang.
The maximum operating altitude of the Vision Jet is 28,000 ft meaning the aircraft may encounter major weather systems. The Vision Jet has a cabin height of 4.1 ft and a cabin width of 5.1 ft, with a capacity to seat up to seven people (see layouts below).
Pros
The Vision Jet does what is expected from a very light jet, at a lower price point than the rest of the market. Takeoff requires just 2,036ft and landing requires on 1,628 ft allowing the craft to get in and out of smaller airstrips.
Cons
It is less capable than other similar aircraft – flying lower, slower and with a less spacious cabin than other very light jets. The Vision Jet has only one engine so for those looking for higher levels of safety this may not be an option.
Cirrus Vision Jet Interior
Whether you hire a private jet Cirrus Vision Jet for work or pleasure, you can enjoy your favorite movie on the go, the entertainment display easily connects to your favorite device, and the center console creates a modern workspace. Onboard Wi-Fi keeps you connected during your flight, and convenient USB-C ports allow you to charge your devices for increased productivity.
Moreover, there’s climate-controlled air conditioning, a Flight Into Known Ice system, and large windows for exceptional visibility. All this contributes to the economy and flexibility of the aircraft, allowing you to fly between distant cities.
