Monarch Air Group arranges BBJ MAX charter flights worldwide with FAA Part 135 operators and their foreign-certificated equivalents. Our team is available around the clock to plan your trip and quote your route.
The BBJ MAX is the business jet version of Boeing’s 737 MAX airliner, offered in three sizes: the BBJ 737-7, 737-8 and 737-9. Boeing says it has three times the cabin space of a typical private jet and room for 19 or more passengers. It can fly up to 15 hours nonstop.

Boeing BBJ MAX Charter Cost
Only a handful of BBJ MAX aircraft fly charter, so it pays to plan ahead. Your price will depend largely on which one is free.
If the aircraft has to fly in from far away, that positioning time is usually part of the quote. Crew hotels on multi-day trips, airport fees and any international taxes are extra.

When the BBJ MAX Is the Right Choice
The BBJ MAX suits large groups on long trips who want privacy on board. Its walk-by aisles let you close off a stateroom or office completely, and the rest of the group can still get past.
According to Boeing, 99.9% of all business aviation trips are within its nonstop range.
There’s no need for a stair truck either. The airstairs are built in and fold away into the belly, where they don’t use any cabin space.
BBJ MAX Range and Typical Routes
Even the largest BBJ MAX can carry eight passengers and their bags more than 6,300 nm, according to Boeing. The smallest, the 737-7, goes the farthest, at 6,500 nm.
That covers trips like London to Los Angeles, about 4,700 nm, or New York to Dubai, about 5,950 nm. Boeing’s own range maps show nonstop flights from cities including New York, London, Dubai, Hong Kong and Sydney.
A full cabin or strong headwinds will bring those numbers down. Your quote will show whether your trip needs a fuel stop.
BBJ MAX Cabin, Interior and Baggage

Cabin floor space ranges from 884 sq ft on the BBJ 737-7 to 1,120 sq ft on the 737-9. No two BBJ MAX cabins are alike, because each owner designs their own. Many combine open living areas with private rooms, such as a stateroom with its own lavatory.
Boeing’s low cabin altitude system keeps the cabin at 6,500 ft even at the aircraft’s highest cruising altitude, and Boeing says the windows are 20% larger.
There’s plenty of room for luggage: from 1,125 cu ft of cargo space on the 737-7 up to 1,797 cu ft on the 737-9. We’ll confirm the layout, number of seats and beds, and Wi-Fi for the aircraft you book.

Across the family, Boeing quotes room for 19 or more passengers and up to 15 hours nonstop. Range figures use NBAA rules, 50% annual winds in the limiting direction and a 3% airways allowance.
BBJ 737-7, 737-8 or 737-9?
The three sizes trade a little range for more room. The 737-7 flies the farthest, while the 737-9 has about 236 sq ft more floor space and the most cargo room, which suits bigger groups. The 737-8 sits in between.
On a charter, you’ll usually book whichever BBJ MAX is available, and we’ll tell you which size it is in your quote. For other large aircraft, see our heavy jets.
