Monarch Air Group is committed to building a greener future by supporting sustainable and meaningful aviation practices. We stand firm on our promise to offset the carbon emissions for all our clients’ flights, to help minimize our carbon footprint. And this commitment has allowed us to reach a major company milestone. Monarch Air Group has achieved carbon-neutral operations as of 2024, according to internal sustainability assessments.
The process
Each flight’s carbon emissions are calculated by determining the type of jet, the flight time, and the fuel burn rate per hour. Then, based on that amount, we purchase carbon credits from a verified carbon offset program designed to give back to the environment. Through our investment with the Carbon Trade Xchange, we have chosen to fund wind energy-based power projects that work to decrease greenhouse gas emissions.
Pioneering Sustainability
Monarch Air Group achieved a historic milestone in 2022 by becoming the first private jet brokerage recognized by the NBAA’s Sustainable Flight Department Program.
