Beechcraft King Air 360 Private Jet Charter

Monarch Air Group arranges King Air 360 charter flights across the US and abroad with FAA Part 135 operators and their foreign-certificated equivalents. Call us any time to plan a trip or get a quote.

The King Air 360 is the latest model in Beechcraft’s King Air family of twin-engine turboprops. It cruises at up to 312 knots (about 359 mph), can fly up to 1,806 nm (about 2,080 miles) and needs 3,300 ft of runway to take off. That makes it a practical choice for regional trips and for airports too short for many jets.

Beechcraft King Air 360 Charter Cost

A turboprop usually costs less per hour than a midsize jet. Your final price depends on the aircraft, where it’s based and your travel dates.

Say the nearest King Air 360 is parked in Teterboro and you’re flying out of Boston: you’ll usually pay for that short hop to come get you. Airport fees are extra, and so are taxes if you’re leaving the country.

When the King Air 360 Is the Right Choice

Choose the King Air 360 when landing close to your destination matters more than speed. It needs only a short runway, so it can use small regional airfields near a lake house or a factory site, rather than a bigger jet airport that may be a long drive away.

On board, there’s a private lavatory at the back, pull-out work tables and power outlets with USB charging. Textron also raised the cabin pressure on this model. At a typical cruising altitude of 27,000 ft, the cabin feels like 5,960 ft, more than 10% lower than on the King Air 350i.

For longer trips, a jet will get you there faster, since most midsize jets cruise well over 400 knots. The cabin is also too low for passengers to stand up straight.

King Air 360 Range, Speed and Typical Routes

Textron lists a maximum range of 1,806 nm, based on a ferry flight at long-range cruise with NBAA IFR reserves. That’s the most it can fly with a light load.

It’s at its best on trips of a few hundred miles, such as New York to Nantucket or Miami to the Bahamas. It climbs at up to 2,700 ft per minute and can fly as high as 35,000 ft, above much of the weather. We’ll confirm in your quote whether your route needs a fuel stop.

King Air 360 Cabin, Interior and Baggage

The cabin is 4 ft 6 in wide and 19 ft 6 in long. Textron redesigned it for the 360, with new cabinetry and sidewalls, pinhole lighting, upgraded seats and illuminated cupholders.

CoolView windows let less of the sun’s infrared heat through, which keeps the cabin cooler on bright days. Wi-Fi is optional on the King Air 360, so ask us if your aircraft has it.

The baggage area holds up to 1,150 lb, or 71.3 cubic feet. Let us know about golf bags, skis or other bulky items when you ask for a quote. We’ll confirm the seating for your aircraft too.

King Air 360 vs. King Air 360ER

Wondering about the 360ER? It can go about 880 nm farther, but it’s a touch slower and needs more runway. Most ERs end up flying cargo or air ambulance missions, so if you’re chartering, you’ll most likely be on a regular 360.
