Monarch Air Group arranges Challenger 3500 charter flights across the US and abroad, working with FAA Part 135 operators and their foreign-certificated equivalents. You can call us any time of day to plan a trip or get a quote.
The Challenger 3500 is Bombardier’s newest super-midsize jet, and it replaced the Challenger 350. With a range of up to 3,400 nm (about 3,910 miles), it can fly across the US without stopping. Its cabin has Bombardier’s new Nuage seats, which lean back into a relaxed position Bombardier calls “zero gravity.”
Bombardier Challenger 3500 Charter Cost
Market estimates for chartering a Challenger 3500 range from about $4,700 to $6,500 per flight hour. Treat that as a rough guide. Your quote will depend on the aircraft you book, where it’s based and when you fly.

When the Challenger 3500 Is the Right Choice
The 3500 is a strong pick for up to 10 people flying within the US or to the Caribbean and Mexico.
At 41,000 ft, the 3500’s cabin feels like 4,850 ft. Bombardier says that’s the lowest cabin altitude in its class, and you’ll likely notice the difference at the end of a long travel day.
Technical delays are rare, too. Bombardier reports dispatch reliability of over 99.8% for the Challenger 350, which the 3500 is based on.
Challenger 3500 Range, Speed and Typical Routes
With four passengers on board, Bombardier says the Challenger 3500 can fly 3,400 nm at Mach 0.77 and still land with the standard fuel reserve. On most trips it cruises a little faster, at Mach 0.80, and its top speed is Mach 0.83.
That covers any trip within the continental US, such as Los Angeles to New York at about 2,150 nm. New York to London is about 3,000 nm. The 3500 can fly it nonstop with only a few passengers and bags. With more weight or strong headwinds, you may need a fuel stop.
Leave Teterboro mid-morning and you can be in Los Angeles in time for lunch, local time. We confirm in your quote whether your route needs a fuel stop.
Challenger 3500 Cabin, Interior and Baggage
The cabin is 6 ft tall, 7 ft 2 in wide and 25 ft 2 in long, the same shell as the Challenger 350, but the interior is new. Cabin pressure is lower too: at 41,000 ft it feels like 4,850 ft, about 2,000 ft lower than on the 350.
You can control the lights, temperature and entertainment by voice, a first in business aviation according to Bombardier. There’s a 4K screen (Bombardier says it’s the largest in its class), wireless phone chargers and Ka-band or 4G air-to-ground internet where the operator has fitted it.
Layouts differ from one aircraft to the next, so we confirm the seating, Wi-Fi and baggage space for the jet you book. Tell us about golf bags or skis when you ask for a quote.

Challenger 3500 vs. Challenger 350
The two jets share the same cabin size and engines. The 3500 adds the Nuage seats, voice control and a lower cabin altitude, so it’s the one to pick if comfort on a long day matters most. A 350 can be a good choice when availability or price comes first.
